Welcome to Root SUP, the Huron River Watershed's most welcoming paddle board yoga community. We offer weekly Stand Up Paddle board Yoga classes, as well as a variety of fun workshops. We will help you feel grounded and stable on the water, no matter the conditions. We offer beginner friendly classes that are still challenging to the more advanced students, by providing variations for all levels within the class. Learn the edges of your comfort and balance in a supportive and nurturing community.
Enjoy an evening on the water under the full moon. This group paddle will start just before sunset and is beginner friendly!
Each weekend will include 2 hours on the water. We will start with basic paddle techniques, learn efficient paddle stokes, and quickly grow towards strategies for power and strength on the water. These training sessions are perfect for people who are newer to paddling and want to gain speed, as well as those who are more advanced and interested in trying races!
