Yoga + SUP
Join us Tuesday night’s for 30 minutes of yoga on the beach and 45 minutes of Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP) on the water! Perfect for those who are intimidated by doing yoga on the boards, or for those who would like to stretch before getting in-depth knowledge of paddle techniques. Connect with your breath and then learn how to paddle. Bring a yoga mat and water. You can either rent a board from us or bring your own board for a discount. No yoga or SUP experience required!
Our Thursday night SUP yoga classes are a perfect blend of balancing and relaxing, great for beginners and experts. Get on the water, get comfortable on the board, and learn something new (even if you're a pro). Bring your own board or rent a board from us.
On Friday mornings get on the water and learn how to Stand Up Paddle! This class is great for beginners as well as those more experienced paddlers. We’ll learn the basics of paddling efficiently, how to paddle backwards, sideways, and turn. We will also learn tricks on the board and play a few games while we’re on the water!
Classes are located at the Klave's Marina. Park in the dirt lot on the west side of the Marina. From M36, take McGregor Rd, head south toward Dexter-Pinckney Rd, pass Riverside and the Portage Lake Trading Post. You will pass Klave's Marina and then turn right into the first dirt driveway just past Klave's and follow the driveway down to the parking lot.
From Dexter-Pinckney Rd, turn onto McGregor Rd, turn left into the dirt driveway before Klave's Marina, and follow the driveway down to the water. You will see signs that say permit required, so be sure to get a permit from us before class!
Space is limited. Please sign up in advance to reserve your spot in class. Classes can be rescheduled if canceled at least 4 hours before class-time. Classes canceled due to weather can be rescheduled at your convenience via email.
